Puddles of bobby pins, mountains of credit cards,
Dale Downer pushes to the back of the bus.
Death mask waiting in a bag at the dry cleaners
Black shoe shopping for the queen of dust
Yes it’s all genuine; yes it’s all counterfeit,
Knowing the difference is a culture for idiots.
Doors you can’t open with the keys you were given
I resort to digging through the puddles of bobby pins, mountains of credit cards
Photos of monuments, statues of Stalinists,
Vida loca bleeding in the back of the Volkswagen.
Photos of monuments, statues of credit cards,
Things are getting better not that it was ever too hard.
Doors you can’t open with the keys you were given
I go back to digging…
Doors you can’t open with the keys you were given
I go back to digging through the puddles of bobby pins, mountains of credit cards.
Puddles of bobby pins
Mountains of credit cards
Junk Drawer lead the pack, swerving into unsettling territory - I love this band's sheer unpredictability. I remember their gig at Output where they followed an excellent set by The Bonk. These guys are the cat's pyjamas! Ursula's Crow
Cermony's Ross John Farrar experiments with synths, bass, & percussion to make music similar to that from the '80s homemade tape scene. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 30, 2023
Wonderful to see Irish musicians putting out something as fresh as this, even if Bitch Falcon's influences are front and centre. The album is a fantastic mix of shoegaze and grunge (and even dream pop if I may be so bold), and it all comes together in one tight, thoroughly enjoyable package. derringerhk
